The Marketing mix consists of Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process and Physical Evidence.
1) PRODUCT
These are the combination of goods and services that are offered to the target market.
ASOS products are aimed at 16-35 year olds with the aim of providing catwalk style celebrity clothing at affordable prices. ASOS sell men's, women's children's, maternity, jewelery,and beauty products with the convenience of sitting at home and ordering products online.
2) PRICE
This is the amount of money consumers have to pay in order to gain the product.
ASOS have a reasonable pricing strategy which varies from £15 to £270, ASOS have a price range bar on their website which allows customers to put in the amount of money they would like to spend on an item and then all the clothing in that price range will appear. although ASOS can have clothing that can be as expensive as £270 ASOS aim to keep their prices as affordable as possible with the aim of providing catwalk style clothing
3) PLACE
This describes where and when the consumer can obtain the product.
ASOS are a 'click' this means they are an internet based company which has no physical building from where a product can be brought.Therfore all goods brought from ASOS can only be brought online as they are an internet based business. The goods ordered from ASOS are based in their warehouse, and therefore once a delivery takes place the product is sent to be delivered to the customer.

4) PROMOTION
ASOS promote themselves by using their website as their main source of promotion as well as networking sites and banner advertising. ASOS can tell customers or attract new customers with their promotion via emails or facebook etc. ASOS also send registered ASOS cutomers their online magazine which the customers can then send on to their friends and family, this is effective marketing as this causes a multitude of people to send ASOS magazine to their family and friends who may visit the ASOS website and buy products form ASOS. ASOS mainly promote their business via the internet by providing all services online such as the product, information, magazine and dealing with comments and reviews via the World Wide Web.
5) PEOPLE
These are all the people involved within the business such as the workrers,managers, owners etc and are the people who offer customers service. therfore at ASOS they offer customers service via phone or e-mail wheras in normal highstreet shops customer service is offered face to face, over the phone e-mail and etc. therfore at ASOS when products need to be returned the customers will need to ring the customer service whereas in normal shops the customers will just go to the shop and return the items. Therefore ASOS will need to make sure that the customer services are open regularly and the woprkers are polite and helpful as this may be a downside and effcet the customer in wnating to come back to ASOS. ASOS will also have employees working at different sections of their company such as on the phones, internet based, advertisng, warehouse etc in oirder to be the best posiible and to understand the wants and needs of the customers.
6) PROCESS
This refers to the method of communication towrads customers, such as when a customer at ASOS are looking at products ASOS try to give them a highstreet fee as they provide the product in different angles, zoomed and on models walking on the high street to make it more convenient for the customers also when a customers orders a product ASOS will have to provide the customers with a confirmatrion e-mail, and if problems occur ASOS will need to inform their customers of these, in order to ensure their customers that they provide convenience and work to the needs and wnats of their customers this can lead to profi of ASOS.
7) PHYSICAL EVIDENCE
This is the experience of using a product or service therfore as ASOS are an internet based business they need to provide the best they can in order for the customers to be able to see the product the best of their ability therfore ASOS provide customers with products that can be seen in differnt angles, zoomed, and seen on a catwalk this provides the customer with and example of the products as they are unable to see the product first hand.
